Families of children with disabilities born in 2019 will participate in two processes this year: the Kindergarten Admissions process and the Kindergarten IEP process. Our two-part Turning 5 workshop series covers how to get special education services for students with disabilities as they move from preschool to kindergarten; applying to kindergarten; parents’ rights; advocacy tips; and how to get help navigating these two processes.
